Rakeysh: Got death threats after ‘Delhi 6’

Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has delivered massive hits like ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, however the failure of ‘Delhi-6’ hit him hard. Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor essays the leads in this entertainer which released in 2009. In his autobiography, The Stranger in the Mirror, the filmmaker has revealed that he was in a dark place for six months post the film’s release.
